Wave ski surfing and Kayaking in Reunion island
Wave Ski, at the international level, is 30 years old. In France, the discipline has emerged 25 years ago and is attached to the French Federation of Canoe-kayak.
Main difference with the traditional kayak: the position on a float with a free surface surf (and not in a cockpit kayak). The float is equipped with 2-foot strap (for keeping the feet), a belt allowing the paddler to show solidarity with it, and 3 fins underneath that allow changes in the wave.
