Today, the contribution to sustainable development is significant. François Lavenu from the CBO Territoria and project operator would like to clarify this. The property of the site will meet the requirements of the environmental issues. We are stepping towards a new era of construction, an era of responsibility. We want sustainable things to be established on the premises. The location of the buildings, solar roof panels, slatted canopies, eco-lamp and water management... All the techniques will be carried out to manage the energy. Another positive and noticeable point is that out of the 72 hectares, the Urban Development Zone will cover 17 hectares of green space.
Much more than an economic and strategic hub, Terre Sainte will become a new city in the near future. A dynamic city which won't switch off its light after office hours.
Besides the Science and Technology Park, new residences, private and council houses will be built up in the coming months and years. Whoever says housing means investment in suitable amenities for ones well being: kindergarten, schools, high schools, food court, parks, gymnasiums, cultural center and shops...
The development plan has been particularly well thought out to fit perfectly into the existing surrounding. The new residential hub will, indeed be blended harmoniously with the old Terre Sainte, the historic village of fishermen. Richard Martorelle is convinced: "The South is today."
