The city of Saint-Denis is pleased to present you the second edition of the "Saint-Denis Expos Photos" from 8th March to 12th April. The goal of this event is to bring the work of renowned, award-winning and recognized photographers into the spotlight. Interviews, conferences, workshops, screenings and studios are featured. In co-ordination with the event, several of the restaurants and bars in Saint Denis are organising photograph exhibitions throughout the month of March.

Played by the Tamam troupe at the Bambous theatre in Saint-Benoit, "En route ma poule" is a comedy for kids as from 6 years old. The script: Kiri and her mother Kimone are the only two artists in Kakétie, a small island in the Pacific Ocean. This island is unique because each inhabitant has 10 000 chickens. They cycle across the world to show their cultures to others.

Immerse the visitors within a socio-political context at the period of 1940 to 1978 and show them the history of the sugar industry through the example of Stella, such is the objective of the museum in Saint-Leu.
Text, photographs and audiovisual materials are displayed across the three levels of the museum. It also focuses on the present socio-political context and explains the industrial process in highlighting the technical aspect of the machineries of the various plants production's items.

Who has not dreamed of trying to shape the clay one day? Arts' envol and the Conservatoire Botanique de Mascarin invite you to do so on the 22nd and 23rd March 2008.
Organised by the ceramicist, David Léon Géminez, this workshop is open to everyone, even to beginners.
Programme: visit of the workshop and introduction to the pottery, the next day: decorating the objects.
