If there is a sport which is successful for the past few years in Réunion Island, it's the motocross. The department houses one of the greatest French leagues, featuring over 550 racing drivers.
Here we go, the season has started, the racing drivers are keyed up ready to take up the challenge. The sole trouble is that the island does not have enough facilities for all these enthusiasts. There are only four circuits (Saint-Denis, La Possession, Le Tampon and La Rivière Saint-Louis), which is not much because not all of them are ratified for the championship. It's too bad, as the tournaments bring an increasingly heterogeneous and wide public together. We must say that each tournament goes in full swing. The engines make an astounding noise, the stunts are awesome and the tyre spinning makes one shudder and the competition between the driving racers are always determined.

And it's not Pascal Dorseuil who is going to contradict us. This multi champion driving racer of Réunion Island and veteran is always on the front seat. He is the benchmark. The youngest ones hasten to seek his advice. When he is not among the top, he organises racers along with his sponsor, Suzuki, just to warm up the engines in his estate across the track of MX421 in Rivière Saint-Louis. It's too bad the festivity has remained incomplete last February due to cyclone in the area. The metropolitan driving racer, Fabien Izoird had to cancel his trip and his free driving courses. But it's just a matter of time, promised Pascal Dorseuil. Meanwhile the championship has begun, one needs to hold on tight.
