It’s just like cooking

"Making pottery, said Jean-Jacques Guerrini passionately, it's like cooking.  We flatten, knead, decorate the clay, we do something with it.

Much concerned to share his art, the man opens his workshop to all those who wish to learn the pottery and oil painting.  He welcomes particularly groups of kids.  And no need to know the sign language to interact with Jean-Jacques Guerrini : the man speaks with his eyes and body.  The kids perfectly understand him.  "It takes just five minutes for a kid to understand Jean-Jacques," said his wife, who acted as a translator.  In these times, I did not even need to be present!"    

Jean- Jacques Guerrini does not intend to stop here.  He is never short of ideas: in addition to the exhibition-, whereof one is currently held in the media library in Saint-André, he is planning to organise an open day every year and to intervene in establishments such as nursing homes or schools.
