Beaches

After a day full of activities and partying all night, it is time to have a break!

In the shade of a coconut palm or a filaos, the Réunion Island soft sandy beaches will help you relax.

After a nap, slip into your swimming suits and put on your flippers, diving mask and snorkels to explore the sea bed. Be careful, the sea is quite dangerous. A few advice .

Saint-Paul Located between Port and Saint Gilles, you can spot a huge black sandy beach. It is an ideal site for those who appreciate peacefulness. However, swimming remains inadvisable.

Saint-Gilles Situated between Saint Paul and La Saline, Saint Gilles the “Saint Tropez” of Réunion Island: white sandy beaches, coconut palm, and turquoise sea, is an ideal spot for “farniente.”

La Saline Located between Saint Gilles and Saint leu, La Saline is a dreamed place for all the white sandy beach and crystalline lagoon lovers.

Saint-Leu The virgin white sandy beach of Saint Leu is situated between La Saline and Etang Salé. As there are not many people who go there during the week, you’ll discover a peaceful and relaxing environment. Also, spend the rest of the day diving and snorkeling. Indulge yourself in this breathtaking experience!

L'Etang-Salé On your way between Saint-Leu and Saint-Louis, you can spot black volcanic sand contrasting with the white sandy beaches in the west.

Saint-Pierre The main beach in Saint Pierre is the most popular destination in the south.
Located near the harbour of Plaisance, its white sandy beach and large lagoon are much appreciated. Bring along your diving mask and snorkel to contemplate the underwater fauna and flora! Only the crowd and strong trade winds can be disturbing. Whether it is for sunbathing, surfing or windsurfing, anything is possible at Saint-Pierre beach.

Grand-Bois Looking for peacefulness ? Go to Grand-Bois.

Grande-Anse Grande Anse is a small gorgeous white sand cove. The natives of Réunion Island often come here to picnic and cook curries under the filaos and vacoas while contemplating the ocean.
Besides, a lake has been excavated to allow safe swimming. However, swimming is prohibited in the sea as it is very rough and therefore, quite dangerous.
A gorgeous resort located in the Indian Ocean littoral.
