The Bois Madame looks like a green oasis along the seaside.  This pleasant and well maintained spot is listed among the privileged ones to relax in Sainte-Marie.  You just have to take the exit at La Mare to get there.  Those who wish may leave their cars at the roundabout and walk along the wide pedestrian paths to go there.  The others may quietly park their cars in the parking lot located just opposite the entrance.

It is not unusual to come across athletics and as a reason: the site boasts a football field, basketball and volleyball courts, Skateboard Park, motocross track, apparatus and a fitness trail.  However, one needs not be an athletic to go to Bois Madame: the site is also convenient for picnics with kiosk, BBQ areas and drinking water.  The shaded paths allow one to enjoy a nice stroll.  Games for kids can be spotted all across the site with a "bullgom" ground, a soft material which prevents them from hurting themselves when falling down.          

And on top of that: the site presents an outstanding viewpoint overlooking the harbour of Sainte-Marie.
