Play: “Les rustres” by “Les Déménageurs Associés” in Saint-Denis

The action takes place in Venice during a carnival. A head of the family who is an old remarried widower, jealous man and so fiercely homebody and rude is he, that he locked his wife and daughter whilst outside, behind the gates, the city is in a festive mood. A marriage is arranged by him and three of his companions without the young engaged couples have ever met. Although terrified by their husbands, the wives are disturbed.
