Partying

A TSD night: “The Digital Sound”

Soirée LSD Sechoir Saint LeuSaturday 2nd February
From 08 00pm to 03 00 am at La Ravine backstage
Ticket price: 5€

On his comeback, Le Séchoir is pleased to pay tribute to the electronic world and to the activist of the Free Party.  A sound system placed within two ramparts, DJs and the invincible musicians that are passionate by (loud) sound and an unreleased groovy atmosphere...  To top it all, an aperitif is on the house!  Here are the ingredients that should make this T.S.D evening a big event.
Seb The Player / laptop set / digital groove / the one and only evenings’ king of the “Upside Down du Bug”, ex Nova
Zorteil / live / deep house / From keyboards to machines, Zorteil produces a melodic and punchy house live
Sal Paradise / dj set / minimal / playing the techno since the end of the 80s, Sal P. blends a fine music along with an exceptional and a minimal one.
Abuzor vs Costa / live mix battle / dub hardcore / A confrontation between the activist of Sapoak Sound and the machine man from Zong
Freak Broza Sound System / dj set / jungle, drum & bass / Five DJ laud the jungle revolution (Jungle fever nights and red eye…)

Gallery

Exposition de Stéphane MaïconSunday at “bassin de mangue”
Exhibition of Stéphane Maïcon

This exhibition consists of black and white pictures taken in a 6x6 box camera which goes back over the different steps of an “Indian service.”  Indeed, the use of black and white may seem frustrating for a festivity that is so colourful, but, it immerses itself within the religious nature of the ceremony.
It also alleviates the violent aspect of the animal sacrifices.  The intensity of these snaps is the outcome of an “immersion” piece of work from Stéphane.  The latter has fast during the photography session to better immerse himself in this world and remove all voyeuristic aspect.  Hence, the shots are truly exceptional and peculiarly original and without this exhibition, this would have been impossible for the audience to discover.
Spend a Sunday at the “bassin de mangue”

The exhibition of Stéphane Maïcon will be held at the Tourist Office in Saint-Benoit up to 29th  February 2008.
