Whether for a cruise for Mauritius or a day sailing along the coasts of Réunion Island, Richard Bonhomme, a professional skipper and his team mate Caro, are pleased to welcome us aboard the Lady la Fée for a magical trip. An azure trip in the heart of the ocean.
The Lady la Fée is a catamaran which majestically unfurled all its sail. It is also one of the largest catamarans in Réunion Island, measuring 13m10 long and 7m wide. Richard, the owner wanted it to be particularly strong. It is equipped and specifically designed to brave the facing wind, that are legion during the cruise to Mauritius.
Hence, it's Richard who sails and along with Caro, lifeguard and skipper, they form a dynamic duet. Having a tanned complexion, Richard is a sea dog.
Sailing means all his life. Having been a sailor for about twenty years on the Brittany Ferry, then an escort from Thailand to Kenya, he has been across all the seas of the world.
Originally from Saint-Malo, this bon-vivant, who makes mind-blowing pancakes (Caro told us so) is an exceptional navigator. As far as safety is concerned, one needs not to be worried.
Whether you are aboard the Lady la Fée for a cruise or a day outing, the ship holds a philosophy. "Everyone must engage oneself in an activity, one does not have time to get bored," states Richard. The ship is meant for sharing.
Everyone will be able to learn steering and other cranks handles. From those looking to relax to fishing to swimming and to discovery, this tailor-made trip is at the pace of the water and ones desires. With its six double cabins, its numerous benches and its kitchen, comfort is optimal. And as we are told, a family atmosphere soon reigns on the boat. We wish to believe it...
