Ingredients :


- 1 can of 225g tuna in brine
- 1 pack of readymade pastry
- 1 small tomato (optional)
- 1 small onion
- 2 garlic cloves
- ½ tbsp “massalé”
- 4 chilies
- 6 green onion stalks
- Salt and oil

Method :

For the filling:
Crush the garlic and chilies together with half teaspoon of salt. Then, add the minced onions, the chili and garlic mixture together with the flaked tuna and cook around 2 minutes. Next, add the small diced of tomatoes and the “massalé” and simmer until all liquid is absorbed. At the end of cooking time, combine the finely chopped green onions to the other ingredients.
Defrost the pastry and cut into 4 to 5 pieces, as you fancy. Brush each edge with a little water and form a cone shape around your fingers, sealing the dampened edge. Fill the cases with a teaspoon of the filling and press the two dampened edges together to seal the top of the cone.
Deep fry the samosas in hot oil until crisp and golden brown take out and drain on a paper towel.
