- ½ kg potatoes - 300g Piton des Neiges (Réunion Island cheese) - 1 egg - 1 clove of garlic - Salt and pepper - Nutmeg and chopped parsley
Method :
Peel and shred the potatoes, mix it with sliced Piton des neiges cheese, egg and crushed ginger and parsley. Season it with salt, pepper and nutmeg according to your taste. Heat some oil in a non-stick pan. Put tablespoons of the mixture into the pan and flatten them into little cakes. Allow them to cook on a low heat, and turn them over when the underside begins to brown.
