-250g broad beans or yellow split peas -1 big onion -4 garlic cloves -1/4 tsp curcuma -1 sprig of thyme -Salt and oil
Method :
In a saucepan, simmer the peas for 40 minutes. Heat three tablespoons of oil and add the crushed condiments (garlic and salt) as well as the curcuma. Cook for 3 to 4 minutes. Then, add the peas and 1 glass of water. Simmer for approximately 20 minutes, until you obtain a smooth consistency. Do not let them get dry. Several types of peas can be cooked in the same way as yellow split peas.
