Ingredients :
-1 large pineapple
-150g butter
-4 eggs
-1 sachet of baking powder
-1 sachet of vanilla sugar
-150g brown sugar
-150g flour
-100g brown sugar (for caramel)
Method :
Melt the butter. Mix the sugar, the flour and the baking powder together with the melted butter. Whisk the eggs and add to the mixture. Pour 100 gr of sugar together with 1 tablespoon of water and cook to obtain caramel. Once the caramel is golden brown, put the pineapple slices in a sandwich tin and pour in the mixture. Bake at gas mark 6/7 for about 30 minutes. Turn out onto a large plate.
