-3/4 litre milk -150g brown sugar -1/2 vanilla pod -5 eggs -200g grated coconut
Method :
Boil the milk with the half vanilla pod. Beat the eggs and add the sugar gradually. Add the boiling milk while stirring constantly. Allow to rest for a while and remove the froth. Mix together with grated coconut and pour into a loaf tin. Fill a container two-thirds full with water and immerse the loaf tin. Bake at 150° for about 50 minutes.
