-7 fully ripe bananas -300 g cane sugar -zest of 2 lemons -1 tsp butter -cinnamon and nutmeg -2 tbsp rum
Method :
Runweb tip :
Peel the bananas.
Place in a blender or crush with a fork.
Put the mashed bananas in a saucepan.
Add the sugar, rum, spices and lemon zest.
Cook over a medium heat for one hour, stirring constantly.
The mixture should be smooth and brownish in colour.
