Reunion Island
The Districts: Sainte-Suzanne
Sainte-Suzanne is sometimes put aside by tourists. That’s a pity. Sainte-Suzanne is nestled between two branches of the river which has the same name. You won’t see much of the village from the four-lane road. The landscape consists mainly of sugar cane fields and copses of bamboo. At the heart of the village lies a pond, an ideal spot to relax and have a picnic. Tilapias attract many fishermen. Three main tourist attractions: the waterfalls, the lighthouse and the Domaine du Grand-Hazier.

To see

Niagara Cascade

Nothing to do with its American counterparts. Here you can have a swim. Being 50 metres high, this waterfall is impressive and can become very dangerous during the rainy season.
Access :once you have gone through La Marine, go on for one kilometre across the sugar cane fields and then turn right.
