BIENVENUE DANS LA COMMUNE DE : SAINTE-ROSE
Sainte-Rose lies at the heart of the wild south. Its landscapes have been shaped by the vagaries of the volcano. The wrath of the ocean has designed impressive cliff faces. Lying at the foot of the Piton de la Fournaise, Sainte-Rose has been the victim of most of the lava flows, which cut across the road every time. Other interesting spots include: its diving spots with magnificient falls (among which Grand Brûlé’s), the Queser’s wreck, its tiny harbour and its majestic suspension bridge which spans the Rivière de l’Est.
