BIENVENUE DANS LA COMMUNE DE : SAINT-LOUIS
Saint-Louis is the last town on the road to Cilaos, the junction between west and south. A splendid row of palm trees welcomes you. A bit further on lies the Gol sugar factory which emits the smell of distillated rum. Rebuilding and renovation have been undertaken across the city centre. The minaret of the brand new mosque rises high above the village. Saint-Louis is a commercial, agricultural and industrial town.
